Automotive Car | 2012 DTM AMG Mercedes-Benz C-Coupe | The DTM AMG Mercedes C-Coupe was designed to meet the new and improved security concept for the year 2012, which is a state-of-the-art carbon fiber monocoque and a roll cage made of high strength steel to meet. In order to improve protection for the driver in case of an accident, all safety-relevant components such as the fire extinguishing system and fuel tank are integrated into the monocoque. Moreover, each with six vehicle crash structures will be equipped to give the driver additional protection for the front, rear and sides. These carbon-fiber crash structures are designed to progressively absorb crash energy, so that the driver is not exposed to high deceleration forces.
